Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Puff Pastry
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut into small squares or circles (about 3-4 inches in size).
- Place the pastry pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Step 2: Prepare the Filling
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese (or ricotta) with Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Step 3: Assemble the Tartlets
- Arrange sliced cherry tomatoes on top of the cheese layer.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano.
- (Optional) Brush the pastry edges with egg wash for a golden finish.
Step 4: Bake
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed up.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
Step 5: Garnish & Serve
- Sprinkle fresh basil or thyme on top before serving.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Use Ripe Tomatoes – Sweet, ripe tomatoes enhance the flavor.
Keep Pastry Cold – Chilled puff pastry bakes up flakier.
Don’t Overload the Toppings – Too much moisture can make the pastry soggy.
