Ingredients

Scale

For the Sandwiches:

  • 1 box Ritz crackers (about 60 crackers)

  • 1012 slices deli turkey or chicken, folded or cut into quarters

  • 1012 slices cheddar, Swiss, or provolone cheese, quartered

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or honey mustard (optional)

For the Buttery Glaze:

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp poppy seeds or sesame seeds

  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Line Pan

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Build the Sandwiches

  1. Lay half the Ritz crackers (flat side up) on the baking sheet.

  2. Top each with a piece of turkey or chicken, then a quarter slice of cheese.

  3. Spread mayo or honey mustard on the remaining crackers if desired.

  4. Place those on top of the filled crackers to create sandwiches.

Step 3: Mix the Glaze

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire, garlic powder, poppy seeds, and parsley.

  2. Brush the glaze generously over each sandwich top.

Step 4: Bake & Serve

  1. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and crackers are golden.

  2. Let cool slightly, then serve warm and melty.

Notes

Cut Cheese & Meat to Fit – Keep fillings bite-sized for easy assembly and neatness.
Don’t Overstuff – A thin layer of meat and cheese works best to keep sandwiches together.
Make Ahead – Assemble sandwiches up to a day in advance and refrigerate. Bake right before serving.
Get Creative – Add a thin slice of tomato, a piece of pickle, or a smear of cranberry sauce.
Reheat Gently – Use an oven or air fryer to maintain crispiness.
