  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Beef

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula (about 5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in honey, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend. Remove from heat.

Step 2: Warm the Tortillas

  1. Heat a dry pan over medium heat and warm each tortilla for about 30 seconds per side.
  2. Keep them covered with a towel to stay warm.

Step 3: Assemble the Tacos

  1. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto each tortilla.
  2. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, red onion, and fresh cilantro.
