¼ cup granulated sugar
-
¼ cup milk
-
1 large egg
-
2 tablespoons melted butter
-
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-
2 cups all-purpose flour
-
1 tablespoon baking powder
-
¼ teaspoon baking soda
-
¼ teaspoon salt
For the Filling:
-
2 tablespoons softened butter
-
⅓ cup brown sugar
-
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
-
¾ cup powdered sugar
-
2 tablespoons milk
-
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
Step 2: Make the Dough
Blend cottage cheese in a food processor or blender until smooth. Pour into a bowl and mix in sugar, milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir into wet ingredients to form a soft dough. If sticky, add a tablespoon more flour.
Step 3: Roll & Fill
Roll dough out on a floured surface into a rectangle (about ¼-inch thick). Spread with softened butter, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly across the dough.
Step 4: Roll & Slice
Gently roll up the dough from the long side. Slice into 8–10 rolls and place them in your prepared baking dish.
Step 5: Bake
Bake for 22–25 minutes until lightly golden and cooked through.
Step 6: Glaze & Serve
Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls. Serve immediately and enjoy every swirl!
