Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Easter-themed sprinkles (or regular sprinkles)
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • ½ cup mini marshmallows (optional, for a soft, gooey texture)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prepare the Pan

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Mix the Dough

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  2. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Fold in the Easter-themed sprinkles and white chocolate chips (if using). If you want a more festive touch, you can also add a handful of mini marshmallows.

Step 3: Bake the Bars

  1. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  2. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The bars will continue to set as they cool.

Step 4: Cool & Slice

  1. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares or bars.
  2. Optionally, top with extra sprinkles or a light dusting of powdered sugar for a festive touch.

Notes

Don’t overmix – Overmixing the dough can lead to tough bars. Mix just until combined.
Customize the sprinkles – You can use different colors of sprinkles depending on the holiday or theme.
Add texture – If you like a little crunch, add some crushed graham crackers or nuts to the batter.
For a gooey center – Underbake slightly and let the bars cool in the pan for a few extra minutes before slicing.
